Covering the debates in class?
As I'm watching the VP debates, I'm wondering how we might be able to incorporate these debates in our lectures in COM100, without promoting our own political interests and agendas? Any ideas? Has anyone tried it?
I suggested that the students follow the debates - today we discussed the way in which the candidates broke communciation rules. By the way - one of the new websites had another real life example that I used in class. The article discusses the economic situation - and how the public is behaving according to "self-fulfilling prophecy."

Which website??
I believe I choose the wrong word. It was an article that was in the Financial Times. Interesting stuff and times we are in.
